IBM Connections and IBM Sametime group chat are moving to Watson Workspace ! Please join us !

During last years one of most valuable resource for my job was the Skype group related to the ICS products, where IBM Champions , IBMer, BP and customers was collaborating for free resolving issue and giving great advice about configurations.
If I'm not wrong I've to thanks Sharon Bellamy James because I've learned about these groups from one of her slides years ago: thanks Sharon!

Yesterday after a quick discussions between contributors we have choose to move some of these groups to Watson Workspace because the platform has reach an awesome level and could be considered mature for all kind of collaborations.

All you need to access in Watson Workspace is your IBM ID , so probably if you are customers or BP you already have your!
WW has also a free subscription that's enough to access to this collaboration groups.

IBM Watson Workspace pluc announced today and it's powered by zoom !

IBM has just announced the new PLUS version of IBM Watson Workspace that include the Audio video meeting collaboration from ZOOM !

This version is shipped with differenced license size 25-50-200 user meetings, following this link you could find a table with all features and prices.
IBM has also in plan  to apply the same intelligence that’s bringing summarization, prioritization and personalization to conversations, to video meetings.


I'm already a zoom user from several time and I've enjoyed this meeting every times even with slow connectivity so i found zoom could be a great addiction to WW.

Meeting feature is available using the desktop Windows or Mac client and will comes on mobile also during next weeks.

IBM Watson Workspace available !

IBM has announced  the availability of Watson Workspace, formely know as "Project Toscana".

Watson Workspace  is a real time collabotation app with following features:

• Group & individual persisten chat
• Presence, file and image sharing
• Multi OS Client 
• Enterprise Grade, single sign-on

but what is making Watson Workspace different between competitors is are the cognitive capabilities guarantee by Watson and the availability of Webhooks API, Graph API e Cognitive APIs that made ths team collaboration app an application platform capable to integrate collaboration and corporate Application like CRM or ERP

The cognitive feature available from start is named "moments" that allow users to summarize conversation in key points with 1 click.

Hundreds of integrations is already available using the integration guarantee using IFTT or Workato.

Watson Worskpace is available in 2 editions named preview and Essentials:

• No enterprise management
• Online forum as support

Essential

• 6$/user/month
• 20Gb storage limit per user
• Enterprise Admin & Management with SSO
• Guest user management

Other features guarantee will also be emoticons, Presence awareness, Notifications, Mentions, Files and image sharing ,  Space membership controls and App catalog.

IBM Watson Workspace is available right now in US Datacenter but other regional DC are in plan with also dedicate cloud in roadmap.

The only language available right now is English but during October will be available also

with out of box intend identification expected later in Q4 2017.

In my opinion IBM Watson Workspace is the piece missed in IBM Collaboration software portfolio and i can't wait to see the natural integration with IBM Connections !
