IBM Domino 10 :the date as been announced !

Et voilà , we have the date !
On October 9 at 10:00 CET, during IBM Think Germany in Frankfurt, the 10th release of Domino and Notes, will be officially launched !

As I have undestood, there will be an official event with a Yellow carpet a live stream of the event will be available. During the weeks later the launch the event will be replicated in different city .

I hope to have the chance to be in Frankfurt for the main event ! ;-)

#Domino2025 : IBM Domino 10 Cluster Symmetry Repair demo video

IBM Domino 10 is currently in Beta.
This is a closed beta so participants are supposed to not share anything at this moment , but HCL has showed one of the most exiting feature of the upcoming release during CollabSphere and luckly they have shared the video on youtube, great !

IBM Domino 10 cluster symmetry feature provides exactly what the name promise.. Domino 10 cluster node will be able to auto restore missing NSF and NLO files directly from the other cluster nodes ! And that feature looks to be easy to setup and to use!

#Domino2025 : Product Ideas Lab, the site is finally available !

Announced during  DNUG some weeks ago, it's finally available the new Product Ideas Lab site at the following address:

This site would be the focus point to propose enhancements, feature request and  ideas .

If you like to contribute and have a better product, go there write your idea or vote and comments the other ones already inserted !

#domino2025 Forum - Your input matters ! January 16-18, 2018

As you know IBM with HCL during 2018 has in plan to release the new Domino 10 and Notes 10.

IBM has organized several Jam, both physical and virtual, where partner and customers are called to give ideas and feedbacks to prioritize features and bugfix on 10 release.


Yesterday  the new  Domino2025 Online Forum  has been announced

The forum will be hosted on developerWorks site  for 55 hours and peoples will be called to refine the feedback provided during the jams.


main topics should be:

• Your input on the core components of Domino V10 roadmap including App Dev, Mail, Chat, and Meetings.
• Your ideas on the vision and core elements for the next wave beyond 2018.
• Both qualitative and quantitative insights into the formulation of the roadmap and product vision through surveys and prioritization of ideas in the blog.

Domino and Notes 10 roadmap will be announced during  IBM Think  next March.

Today IBM has announced a partnership with HCL about IBM Collaboration software development:

In few words HCL will take in charge the development of

• Domino 
• Notes
• Traveler
• Sametime ( !!! )
• IBM Verse
• IBM Mail Support for Microsoft Outlook
• IBM Client Access (ICAA)
• IBMEnterprise Integrator (LEI)
• IBM MobileConnector 

This basically means a change of the route with huge investments and as result during 2018 we will see some major release coming like Domino 10 and more !

Nothing will change for customers and Business partners, license and support still in charge to IBM .

Domino 9.0.1 FP10 and  IBM Verse 1.0.3 will be released before the end of this year.


IBM today has also clarified  that development of Notes and Domino will continue indefinitely!

IBM has also announced an Ideation Jam named Domino2025 so anyone likes to contribute with idea and suggestion to roadmap and features is invited to contribute.
