Overview of known issues affecting users after upgrading to Verse 9.4 for Android

Today IBM has just released a new IBM Verse mobile 9.4.0.1 that should fix any upgrade issue but if you have encountered any sync issue with the upgrade to 9.4 (available until yesterday) that shroud be considered a know issue .

IBM Connections Editor available for iOS and Android

Today IBM has released on  Google Play store and Apple app store IBM Connections Editor that allow user to edit create and modify IBM Connections files on mobile devices !

Below some screenshot taken from my  iPad mini.

Here the view from my personal files, where i'm opening a DOC file

here we  have the new icon , after a tap on that the file will be open with new app in edit mode

After a click on the text the keyboard will appear 

The editor could be used starting from Connections or from itself and have an icon to upload the file.

The app could be used to edit and view  Doc, XLS and  PPT and could be used to view PDF.

I think the app is buld well with the essential functionality with IBM Verse, Connections Chat and IBM meeting could grant a great user experience working in mobility ! A real #NewWayToWork

This are the new app with new icons Verse, Mail, Calendar, Actions, People, To Do

Verse

Verse is the main app where you can call all other one except To Do

Mail

Mail app is quite similar last traveler app

Name resolution still show people pictures from android contacts

Here the most important feature mutated from IBM Verse, when you are composing new mail you can set a reminder with a comment  on when you are expecting a respone and why

you can make same from inbox

Actions

Inside actions you can find the mail you have set with reminders splitted in Need actions and waiting for:

Of course you can make any kind of filter on that

People

Inside people we have a split menu, important to me and all contacts

Important to me is mutuated from the main IBM Verse but is not quite useful because it only show contact details

ToDo

To Do is the standard Notes To Do app with all features you are well know, nice

Calendar

Calendar is a classic calendar with all view you can desire 

IBM Verse is a nice upgrade of the app previously know as Traveler. Nice graphics, nice icons and well done material design style.

The actions app features integrated in mobile devices could be very useful 

IBM Verse for Android available on Google Play Store

Some hours late after  Traveler 9.0.1.5 IBM has launched  IBM Verse on Google Play store as replacement/upgrade of  Traveler apps that will be dismissed!
